Chap rents beach hut.

Goes down one day, finds notice on communal tap, 'Not Drinking Water'

Rings up Council. 'What's this all about, we've been drinking from it for years?'

'Well, er, um, actually, it is drinking water, but we had to put the notice on in case dogs licked the tap and someone caught a disease.'

Goes down another day, finds toilets locked.

Council: 'We had to close these toilets because they don't have a Disabled section'.

Any chance that you could elaborate on this, such as where this was and which council took these measures?

As sometimes it's nice to be able to seperate real cases of HSE gone mad, from the growing number of myths.
