Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Here is the message I recieved.
"I condemn utterly the mass-murder of the innocent people of London on 7th July 2005.

A great many Scots have lived in, worked in and visited London, and it is a city that we love. An attack on the city of London is an attack on the Scots as much as it is an attack on the English or the British.

I agree with the expressions of condemnation and resolve, as far as they go, made from Gleneagles, Scotland by Prime Minister Tony Blair and President George W. Bush. The Scots would not waver anyway in our concerted war on terrorism.

However, in the spirit of offering helpful advice to and about the G8 leaders, there are certain questions that must now be asked -

How wise was it for G8 leaders to dine with Queen Elizabeth, the most dangerous terrorist in the world, (she heads up the most powerful global terrorist organisation, "the Windsor Realm"), the night before the bombing? How does dining with the terrorist Queen help to recruit freedom fighters and democrats from other countries to the mutual self-defence of all countries, nations and the people?

How wise was it for the UK royalist, fascist, police state to mount such a large policing operation in Scotland to counter a hand-full of anarchist-vandals in Scotland and to terrorise peaceful protestors here? Was it wise for the police, for example to re-deploy 1500 metropolitan police officers, including anti-terrorist specialists, no doubt, from London to Scotland? Is the safety of G8 leaders so much more important than the safety of all Londoners?

I'll answer my own question. The G8 leaders haven't been in the least wise. They would have been better by far, telling Queen Elizabeth that she had 48 hours to leave Scotland forever and then receiving a delegation from G8 Alternatives and other protestors for enlightening discussions on the way forward for the war on terrorism and the way to make poverty history.

Such a democratic approach would in the long run defeat terrorism, although it is impossible to say whether or not that last minute change of heart would have come in time to prevent the London bombings.

There is no way that responsible people should leave the course of the war on terrorism to G8 leaders. They might mean well but they haven't followed the right advice and they show no sign of ever doing so.

    Part 2

On Thursday, 14th July, responding to London mayor Ken Livingstone’s call for a 2 minute silence in respect of the victims of the London bombings, I arrived at Aberdeen railway station, flying my Union flag, with the simple intention to observe the 2 minutes silence in the main railway concourse.

I arrived in good time, about 11.45a.m, for the start of the silence which was planned for noon.

At about 6 or 7 minutes to noon, a plain-clothes security officer, of I suppose, British Transport Police, came up to me in the middle of the concourse and asked me what I was doing. I explained.

Not hard to explain one would have thought as the railway station TV screens were displaying a message asking people to observe the 2 minutes silence.

However, the officer said that as I didn’t have specific prior permission and it was private property I would have to leave - IMMEDIATELY. I asked him to wait 5 minutes or so until the end of the 2 minutes silence but no. I took a deliberate decision to make a stand on my right to demonstrate my solidarity with the victims of the terrorists, so I refused to leave voluntarily before observing the silence.

So he and another plain clothes transport police officer started man-handling me, trying to get me out of the station. The two of them tried to put an arm-lock on me, but quite frankly I was a bit tense and they couldn’t easily manage me on their own.

So two uniformed - paramilitary-style - police arrived seconds later, and the four of them got me handcuffed. I spoke up as I was being handcuffed to the local railway staff who had gathered not so far away - “THIS IS WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU TRY TO OBSERVE A 2 MINUTES SILENCE - IT’S A FASCIST POLICE STATE!”

There was a photographer there - and he seemed to get a picture of me being lifted.

So anyway, I was detained in a railway station police cell (I didn’t know they had cells there!) and I was released at about 5 past 12 - just too late to observe the silence in public, although I was observing it on my own in the police cell I suppose.

So yet another example of the fascist police state in action. When you are protesting or demonstrating in large numbers - they usually don’t arrest you if you are peaceful.

But when it is a small demonstration, and you seem to be on your own, however peaceful you are, the fascist police state officers never hesitate to pick on you to stop your demonstration.

The lesson is that there is no real freedom and democracy in Scotland or Britain - not with such police fascists in charge - and if you imagine that these fascist police clowns know how to win the war on terrorism, you are kidding yourself.

In fact, such fascist police thugs are really part of the terrorist problem that needs to be addressed and confronted. So I am confronting all of these terrorists - suicide bombers, their leaders and the fascist police officers, all.

So are you with me, or are you with the terrorists?

Part 1 is new to ARRSE. Part 2 I tried to post on the Current Affairs, News and Analysis board in reply to the thread on the 2 minutes silence but it seems to have been deleted.

Peter Dow, Scottish National Standard Bearer

Why do we bother to protect these cunts? Someone please enlighten me.

  2. Oh yes, you should have been here earlier. He broke cover in Current Affairs, and occasioned a good hour of sport until the thread was pulled..:D

  3. Show us yours then Bernie ;)

  4. Makes me think why have I bothered for the last eighteen years when twats like this are working within our borders. No doubt about a good quarter of our govt will agree with him!

  5. I got this too - anone know who he is? I didn't bother reading it all I must admit

  6. What on earth is this guy Dow on? Whatever it is it must be illegal - get the "facist" police onto him about that :)

  7. Does he know what a fascist state actually is?
Im sorry he couldnt take his 2 minute silence in Public, Dont worry Im sure you can buy an "I observed the two minute silence" Wristband so that everyone will know what a charitable and conscientious soul he is.

    Sounds like an idiot

  8. Just ignore the attention seeking no brainer and he may go away. What really gets me is that people like this demonstrate against the establishment and when they get some of the freedoms that they want and it works againt them, they complain that the state isn't protecting them enough.

Let them be free. But make sure that they know that the protection of the state should be earned, not just given as by right. Make the 'Veterans Badge' (whenever we get it) worth something.

  9. I just discovered an email from him as well.
I’m not particularly happy to receive an email with anti monarchy and anti government tones for some fellow I have never spoken to.
I took it as junk mail and deleted it after reading it and deciding it was cr@p.

  10. Yep, got mine too.
I remembered him from posts earlier this year.
Went into the trash straight way- just where he belongs.

  11. This guy is living proof that the Police should have a "shoot to kill" policy, and that Hadrians wall is quite clearly not high enough!

I know that his opinion does not represent most Scotsman/women. Perhaps the good ones should cast him adrift in a corracle at Barry Budden ranges, and then use him for GPMG live firing practices.

"I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire 2000 rounds or only 1500?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a 7.62 GPMG, the horniest machine gun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?"

  12. Funny that. With reagrds to his last post.

For the hell of it I checked the Press and Journal, which is THE main Aberdeen Daily newspaper.

No mention at all of anyone being arrested by either British Transport Police or Grampian Constabulary at Aberdeen Train Station OR for anything to do with the 2 minutes Silence on Thursday 14th July.

    I smell SHITE!!!!

  13. I got it too. I'm a bit gutted, actually, 'cuz I thought I had my own special intaweb stalker.

    V!

  14. Journo, looking for an "Army Hate HM The Queen" headline.

    Buffoon.
