"I have no idea how those images got onto my laptop officer"
Even worse, I use Netflix with minors.

Don't tell on me, I'll be good from now on.

According to Neil Sean Netflix are contemplating a mini series based on how the two Montecitos met and their early life together. Obviously it will be heavily weighted towards them and they can write their narrative which for many people watching will become 'truth'. How much damage would they be able to do in people's eyes?
I use Netflix in my work, and for own use, this may well change in the near future.

I'll probably watch the episodes that detail her work on yachts.

Netflix might be contemplating showing a miniseries featuring the dubious duo, but are they contemplating financing the making of it? I'm not aware of the two having a track record of producing any significant profitable content of the sort which might persuade a media company to make a significant investment of that nature.

Lots of people pitch ideas for movies and television series. Very, very, few make it through all the filters which result in the investment money being lined up and production started and carried through to completion.

I just want to know what the camera crew that's in constant attendance is filming. It seems to have been going on for a while. What's going on?
They're gathering evidence for the divorce once Megan can't squeeze any more publicity out of Ginge...

Given how much Hollywood love remakes, spin-offs, and derivatives, the actual script would probably portray that by having Meghan lead a fleet of ships to London whereupon Meghan would ride a pair of flying dragons to the Tower of London to free Harry from prison. There would be a scene where Prince Andrew flies his own (young, female) dragon after them in a chase scene through Tower Bridge, trashing half of London in the process. There would be a sword fight and Meghan would spin-kick Andrew and Charles into the next county. Then Meghan and Harry would fly off into the sunset on their dragons.

I'm sure that's as realistic a script as anything else that is likely to appear.

I think it more likely that it comes from the same Netflix execs who have seen the popularity of the Crown and want to milk the cow.
That it would be a type of soap opera scandal would just whet their whistles.
Scandal = notoriety = media coverage = $$$.

Perhaps, but the Netflix execs will still insist on having the flying dragons and sword fights in the script.

Making a Kardashian-type 'fly on the wall' doccie.
NOT scripted at all... absolutely NO highly choreographed orphan visits nor public gala appearances.. no siree..
It's not unusual in this sort of situation to get the footage first and then write the script later based on what they've got.

An editor will go through the footage and try to create a story out of it. They can fill in the gaps with individual interviews with the primary subjects (H&M), their friends, "friendly" third parties, etc., by sitting them down on a couch and having them read a script which fits in with the overall theme that has been decided on. The "live" crowd footage will probably be mainly used as background to narration and to provide mental pauses which reinforce points which were just made. It is quite likely that no more than 5 or 10 per cent of the footage shot will actually be used.

There's a very good Canadian documentary but which is probably only of interest to Canadians called "Waiting for Fidel". I won't bother with a detailed description, but the short version is that a documentary that was supposed to be about a meeting between a retired famous (to Canadians) politician and Fidel Castro had to be turned into a documentary about Newfoundland politics and the personality of Joey Smallwood when Castro decided to be camera shy at the last minute and wouldn't be filmed after keeping them waiting for at least a week. The film crew instead ended up filming Smallwood and businessman Geoff Stirling arguing with one another non stop. It was very good in terms of talking about socialism versus capitalism and the interplay of personalities between Smallwood and Stirling, but there was no Castro on film. A good editor however was able to go through the incidental footage and make something usable out of it.

So, don't try to understand the M&H film from where footage has been shot. It won't be about what they did anywhere in particular. It will just be a backdrop to a story that may not even have been written yet.

All the same, pretty tawdry - and to then wrap it in some sanctimony...
Just below your post was this advert, my eyes were drawn to the second from the right. It just seemed so aposite.

I see that the verdict on the Mail appeal is due later today, Jennie 'Brownnose' Bond was on BBC Breakfast wittering on about it.

I've completely missed somewhere. What appeal and who is Jennie Bond?
To be fair I do not watch/listen to the BBC (until the BBC changes it's anti ways) and do not read the Mail.
