Happy World Whisky Day

For me, anything from Islay will do. Particularly the Laphroaig 18 (same flavour as the 10, but much smoother and less of the iodine taste) or Caol Ila 12 (which, if you're into peaty whisky, stands a good chance of becoming your favourite).

I had a glass of whisky that cost around 40 quid, it was beautiful rounded the evening of nicely had it at a distillery north of scotland on the coast. It was a Birthday present from a civvy contractor still trying to find out what it was.

Sadly unable to celebrate today. I shall have to do some damage to the bottle of Lagavulin on the drinks-tray when I get home.
