The heart of the site is the forum area, including:
Are todays Soldiers
happy to be Soldiers.
Ask me again in five weeks
Whats not to be happy about.
Depends where you are and what you are doing
Yes thanks. Otherwise I wouldn't be doing it.
Not as happy as I have been in the past, but its swings and roundabouts isn't it? Are you happy looney?
Happy? Are we allowed to be?
Happy now Im out
Soldiers are never happy. Everything is always sh1t. Everyone knows that.
If my OC said i was to be happy then I was happy .. but he did have a soft spot for me
I'm not. So resigned today. Very cathartic actually.
I think the latest DIN says I'm to be happy so I must be.
I'm happy with what Im doing although not happy working in this 'cnut'ry (Libya)
Next years a different story though.
Edited for rude spelling.
FFS lads, don't crack on that your happy, if some quasi-government type person is reading this they'll say there's no need for extra equipment, pay rises and improved living accomodation!!
edited to add the conversation i'm imagining
Gordon Brown "Right do the troops need all this extra equipment??"
Aide "No, your royalty-ness, i read on ARRSE that the lads are mostly happy at the moment"
Gordon Brown "oh excellent, then there's no need for a new tax then this month is there??"
Aide "oh i'm sure you can come up with a reason for one your greatness"
