Mrs BambiBasher has kindly volunteered to make a batch of pork sausages for auction to raise money for Holidays4Heroes/ HelpThemOut.

Debate on another thread has come up with the name and label, so this auction is for the winner to choose the recipe. Whether your taste is for leek or chilli, compo or haute cuisine, here's your chance to put your money where your taste buds are.

Your name will appear on the label, and you'll receive a laminated copy of the label as a souvenir, plus ten pounds of the sausages. Twenty further pounds of porkers will be auctioned, raffled, or otherwise used in a manner to make money for the cause.

If the recipe sells well, it could be retained, and 10% of the purchase price will be given to H4H. The auction prize that keeps on giving!

This auction will run until Friday 4th September at mid day BST.

So let's be having your porky sausage bids!

    The small print:

Mrs BB is a bona fide producer of jolly nice grub, as can be seen on her website here: http://www.hazelmclean.co.uk/

I'll start the bidding myself, at twenty quid.

I'm keeping the recipe secret at the moment though ....
  3. Sounds a bit tight. Throw in a few more links and call it ten pounds of sausages for the namer, instead of one.

Updating the post now, and thanks again for your generosity.

I am just SO chuffed to be allowed to put my name to what will undoubtedly be a fantastic product.

The BMG is fuming, because he won't be allowed to import any of them

BTW - the recipe must surely contain at least a smidgeon of honey
Basically it goes well with pork.
    Or anything, actually.
    Except fur.

Darn! You exposed my plan for pork sausages with Herfy and honey!!!!

Surely someone can outbid me and do better than that.

Glad to hear you approve of the idea, Slingsby.
  7. £50 for a bit of porking I am in.
  8. When is this auction ending? as I make Wednesday to be the 2nd, Friday being the 4th
  9. Not that impressed either...can't you disguise them as something 'non-pork' so that I can bid for them?

The Pork Police would do their Ramadan-a-ding-dong if I tried to get them delivered over here!

Apologies, updated to correct the date to Friday 4th, and to point out that Mrs. Bambibasher is offering 10% of the PRICE, not 10% of the profits, if the line is continues.
