Gymnastics in Basic

  1. hi just wondering what sort of things you do regarding gymnastics work in phase 1 basic, as i am 6ft 1 and uncoordinated as **** should i be worrying about not being able to do backward rolls and the sort?

  2. Stop worrying mate. You don't join the army to be a gymnast, although depending on what regiment you join, you may find youself in all sorts of weird and wonderful positions as the DS nail you over their desks.
  3. forward rolls and shoulder rolls ('gym agility' they call it), don't worry about it mate, I'm 6' 4 and spent a few PT lessons flopping about all over the place and no-one gave a shit, just get on with it

    the PT staff might take the piss, but that's all part of the fun ;)
