Gym Fitness Plan

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. First of all I'm not joining the army I'm just looking for general advice.

I'm about to join a gym for the first time as I need to loose weight and build up my physical strength.

Trouble is I've no idea of what sort of fitness plan I should be following. Is it a simple case of jumping on the bikes doing that for a bit then moving onto the rowing machine and then treadmill etc?

I'm not expecting anyone to draw up a fitness plan, but if anybody has one saved on their pc or can point in the way of one I'd be very grateful.

Or just to lend some general advice.

    Thanks :)
  2. The staff in the gym should be able to devise a plan for you based on you goals.
  3. Equation is simple, fewer calories, more movement........the rest will happen by itself.
  5. Fcuk off.
  6. Yea cheers, will have a good look through.
  7. No need to shout - not all gyms give programmes or do personal training, some just let you crack on and only get involved if you're doing something dodgy or ask them too.

When is your O2 tag coming? I think you've earned it by now.
  8. buy a book called"fighting fit" by Adrian weale, good all rounder
  9. has it occurred to you he may not want to trust a bloke called gavin,s opinion? ******.
