Yes it is, because the team currently called Arsenal used to be called Woolwich Arsenal, having been formed at the Woolwich Arsenal, former home of the Royal Artillery in the good old days.

Interestingly, to all of those who feel that footballers are generally a bunch of mincing prima-donnas unsuited to a fair day's work etc, when a donation was requested to help in the restoration of some of the historic Woolwich Arsenal buildings as part of the Royal Artillery's museum, Firepower, I'm led to understand that the response from Highbury (in those days) was "no".

Yes it is but after last night's pitiful performance against Sheff Utd they should change it.
