To marry up with the Rhodie songs thread, I thought a couple of songs from or about the Border War wouldn't go amiss.

Here's one from Bok van Blerk who, although he might be a GP, gets a few good songs out.

    Die Kaplyn

Here's a version with Soutie subtitles.
  2. I'm not exactly a huge Bok van Blerk fan either but that's pretty cool...
  3. It sounds like David Hasselhof back in the good old days.

The 32 museum is looking for Dankie Tannie kit if yours is available, I'll be seeing the ouens in Apr.

Reference the various songs, there was one that never gained the chart recognition it deserved.
    It went vaguely like this:

Alarm bells did ring, ting-a-ling-ling, ting-a-ling,
And then we did sing, "Ate logo"
Hearts did just pound, as the Tup neared the ground,
    That's Samora !
"Which beacon ?" they asked, as they all saw their arse,
    That's Samora !

When the plane hits the ground and there's blood all around,
    That's Samora !
When they're smashed into bits, bone, skin organs and tits,
    That's Samora !
When there's a fokken great crash and he's turned into ash,
    That's Samora !

As they now remark back in Lourenço Marques,
    That was... Samora !
