Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. There was a photo in yesterday's Daily Mail showing troops up to their waist in water with the caption "Taking the plunge: Grenadier Guards wade into the Serpentine".

An unusual thing to do at this time of the year by my standards - just wondering why?! :?
  2. Perhaps they wanted to be COLD STREAM Guards?

That's a disappointment. I was wondering just exactly what the Serpentine had done to upset them all.
  4. Their boss was leaving so they wanted to get him wet.........and cold.......apparently.
  5. Only waist deep !?......tarts.
  6. The photo was taken during a smoke break. 5 minutes later came the call "Right lads, back on your heads!"
  7. Bet they weren't looking for the soap.......
