Greek "them"

Met a chap today who said he had been in the Greek version of "them".

Apparently their cap badge is an upside down Excalibur.

Anybody ever worked with them? Are they any good?

Slightly off the wall question, but he seems quite a nice fella.

Never worked with them as I was a remfy sort, but my first jump had one jumping with me and when I landed like a bag of fertiliser he had already landed and packed up, came striding over with a huge grin on his face, gave me a bear hug and said welcome to the club.

Anyway, google up greek sacred sqn who wore the winged dagger and a version of the sabre wing back in WW2.

Flick through these pages for some WW2 ally: http://gallery.commandoveterans.org...adron/raiding+Soldier+mag+article+94.jpg.html

Here are the modern ones: http://www.tactical-life.com/firearms/greek-raiders/#greek-amphib-cdo-2-copy

Had a young Subby from these Biffs attached to my mob for awhile.....a bit silly and wet behind the ears but friendly enough. The older ones were mean looking feckers though
