Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Anyone fancy a flutter?
No money changing hands, just the satisfaction of knowing your horse won!
    I'm going with Kilbeggan Blade.
  2. Ah, vanman, you've been reading the D Tel today. I'll go for Cloudy Lane. I'd love it to be Olly Magern, because that one is about as nails as a horse can get, apart from the mighty Denman of course.

Magern just sets off like a rocket at the front and dares the others to try and break him, and they usually blow up trying, but 4m4f is too far for those tactics.

The National is OK, but there is a deal too much luck involved to make it a proper punter's race. It's not exactly the Gold Cup is it?
  3. Oh dear! He completed much of the course on the false start. :(

EDIT ..... or shall I say the FIRST false start. :omg:
  4. Number 15 in the sweap stake looked at the odds and said oh well thats my race over!!

  5. I had some dosh on My Will - E/W. Came in 3rd. phew! Couple more pennies for tonight!
  6. I picked the winner in the sweepstake at work, so looking forward to Monday :)

I didn't put a bet on him at the bookies though....:( feck it!!!!!
