Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

But it's apparently OK for Bliar and TCH to abandon the military to inadequate kit, too any deployments and Grasping Gordon's penny-pinching, then? Two-faced lying cnuts.

  3. Ah, but there is a good point to this. Granted, the current bunch of politicians pretending to be a government are pack of lying, cheating, two faced, self interested greedy wa&*ers, but the rank and file are beginning to get restless.

The 'brothers' want more pay and less work (amongst other things), and since they seem unlikely to gain much ground right now, are stirring the pot for all they are worth to expose the governments hypocrisy etc. What is good about this you might ask?

Well, while all this is going on, Joe Public, smarting from stealth tax, crap public services (NHS dentist anyone?), increased council tax and mortgage payments etc and facing the gloomy prospect of poverty standard pensions, will wonder about the government? If the party itself is attacking the government, then Joe Public start thinking a bit more and start looking around at what else is on offer.

Roll on the Tory conference. (I only hope it can communicate properly for a change and descend into the usual bun fight about Europe / gays / leadership etc). We live in hope!

Think they'll be any different? How short memories are.

    None of the above

  5. Foreign Secretary Jack Straw...said British troops....were in the Iraq "at the request of the Iraqi government".

"It is they're call if they say 'leave'," he said.

    *****

This guy's talents are wasted in H.M. Government. He could be on the stage delivering this humorous repartee.

They were never going to lose the vote, they had the backing of the big four Unions, whos block votes are enough for Bliar to say "I said we had the backing"!

  7. But what of Soames? He'll save the army wont he? :(
