Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Wail I know, but all this happened under Labours watch and they looked the other way.

"A former RAF squadron leader facing investigation over the cancellation of a £6billion project to privatise Britain’s search-and-rescue operations was first brought to the attention of Ministers two and half years ago.
The Government was warned in 2008 that veteran helicopter pilot Mike Nash may have compromised the bidding process when he left the RAF to work for CHC Helicopter, part of the consortium Soteria which was hoping to win the high-profile contract."

  2. So a possible conflict of interest was brushed under the carpet by the New Labour Government, our former regime. Wonder why that was ? Any ex Minister get any jobs with this lot ? Or former senior Civil Servants ?

I also wish for the return of the openly corrupt 18th Century Parliaments. Least you knew from the off they were all bent
  3. It will certainly be interesting to see what else crawls out of the woodwork.
