Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Expect something to happen - the gilt market has just plummeted

Gordon B has called a press conference for 45mins... when the UK market is closed.. is this it?
  2. i soooooooo hope so!
  3. GE ????
  4. He could call a General Election. He's been dropped by most of his Cabinet, the reults of the local elections are disasterous for him and the Euros are likely to be much the same. He might just want to take the remnants of his party down with him.

One can only hope but it's more than likely to be a bog-standard press conference detailing how his 'Government Of All The Telentless' will now sort out all of this mess out.
  5. Labour may be c*nts, but don't forget that the Tories aren't any better. Just look who's snouts were farther into the troughs.
  6. They're all c*nts, but at least the Tories won't turn us into a socialist police state.
  7. Bonzo Dog - didn't Neil Inned have a song, "No matter who(m) you vote for, the Government always get in"?

Surely Gordon Ceaucescu knows thathe has to go to the Palace before he meets the Press? Is ther no limit to his covert and unconstitutional republicanism?

... is there a revolver cabinet in No.10...
  9. I agree 100% I've been saying that for years.
  10. M. Becket just quit to follow TCH
  11. If he didn't, he should have.

  13. The pound now below $1.60

But isn't it heartwarming to see that in these troubled time so many politicians are leaving to spend more time with their families!
  14. Sorry if this is a bit thick ( i only have internet access, not news 24 etc) but how do you know he has called a press conference.

Looked on the news websites and direct.gov, number10.gov etc but can't see anything :? ?
