Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Gutted, loved that station. Still try and listen on iplayer when the conenction's good. Radio 1 lives on, there's no justice in the world.

  2. And that's why BBC goes for populist rating's. Sad but true.

  3. Tragic. The future is a "choice" of Fearne Cotton or Absolute. I've just heard The Chemical Brothers, Hendrix, Nat King Cole and the Manic Street Preachers on 6 - where am I going to find that sort of mix now?

I don't listen to everything on 6, but there is something for everyone. Its like Radio 3 -I don't listen to it much, but I'm glad its there as it covers stuff that you don't get anywhere else.

This is a sad, sad day for music lovers. Especially those of us of a certain age.

  4. Oh b*gger .... listened to it every night, will just have to switch to Radio 2 instead. Hang on, sod Alan Titchmarsh, maybe I'l rediscover my own eclectic music collection

  5. and the Asian Network, oh no!!!!

  6. Bit of UK Subs followed by Dusty then?
