God I love Police brutality!

Back when I was a fairly new firefighter (fuck off, I have a work ethic, honest) we got called out to a hazmat incident at a nightclub. Some malicious fucker had spread some chemical around that reacted fairly spectacularly with water (think it was calcium carbide).

I'm standing around at the cordon, marshalling the drunken feckers from the club up the road away from the incident, when some particularly drunken fecker decides he needs to urinate in the doorway 3 feet away.

In the time it takes for me to tell him to put that thing away until it comes in an adult size, the police occifer who's just rolled up plants his size 16 boot into the guys back, face planting him into the door he's pissing against.
Before he knows what's going on, the copper has ripped the guys shirt off his back, dropped it in the puddle, dropped him to his knees and is snarling at him to "Clean that up!"

Golf claps all round.

Knew the last white prison Warden in Zimbabwe.

Same as the SA boers - exchange trip to UK to see "How its done in the UK Prison Service"

This was in 1990 just in time for Strangeways.

On seeing the men on the roof he asked when they would ''Take them down?"

Uk prison warden replied ."Oh we will try to talk them down first"

Uncle Bill says . Oh , I do the same. I talk and say get down in 30 seconds or I start to shoot then he got out his FN."

No riots in his nick- not the same prisioners anyway.

Nice one - now if only this happened up and down the country! Another thing: They could have nicked the stupid gwar the second she opened her gob - breach of the peace, rude and threatening behaviour, being a gwar and thus offensive etc etc etc.
...and nicked the boyfriend for being in possession of an offensive girlfriend.

:D

I was on the 66 bus in Glasgow on saturday night anyway the bus stops and a drunken ned gets on gives the driver some verbal and then comes to the back of the bus to where me and my mates are sitting, and a load of birds on thier way back from a hen night

he then starts giving us and them some verbal abuse ,we are too pished to care anyway having been partaking in the quaffing of ale since lunchtime as it was a mates leaving urine up. When the bus stops at the next stop on sauchiehall st and 4 guys in suits you could tell from their style and the hair cuts they were all coppers get on the bus ,flash their warrant cards and with that the bus driver points out the little ned who thinks hes dead hard to them, 2 of the marched up the bus dragging the scum by his hair and then pushed him out of the bus door where the other 2 promptly gave him the kicking of a lifetime to a round of applause from everyone on the bus, when they got back on. I think it was the best peice of proactive policing I've seen in along while from Strathclyde police
It would be the first and only time, bunch of ignorant barstewards... couldn't find a sloppy cloppper in a whorehouse.

Years back, when the Boers still ran SA, a contingent from the South African Police Force visited the Met on a fact-finding tour. The Met was keen to show of it's SPG and took the South African's to the training area, where the SPG demonstrated how they would deal with rioters who attacked them with petrol bombs, bricks etc.

The South Africans were less than impressed; they started laughing and talking amongst themselves in Afrikaans. Finally the senior Met officer lost his temper and demanded to know what the Boers thought was so funny.

"Man, back home we don't bother with nonsense like shields and batons; we just shoot the first dozen blacks and set the dogs on anyone left standing!" 8O
How successful do you rate the SA police tactics over the long haul? Would you like to see those tactics to have been used against the countryside alliance or an arrse protest at parliament?

Oops. Sorry it's the NAAFI. Hang em high!
As opposed to the law enforcement policies of the ANC etc, which have turned SA into the car-jacking capital of the world?

Damn you Sir! How dare you force me to engage in a serious discussion - this is the Naffi Bar! 8O

A couple of years ago I used to live opposite a pub which was known as a grotty chav drinking hole, one Saturday night the enevitable "are you looking at my missus" fight kicks of outside at closing time. Out pour all of the mongs from inside and soon the whole street turns into a mass brawl. Police turn up and without any hesitation set the dogs on the lot of them. Fackin hillarious, I can still remember one particularly hidious tart screaming that her tit had been bitten!

Couple of points.

1)South Africa under black majority rule is now the most violent "democracy" on earth.

2)Any ARRSE protest at parliament would probably be along the lines of: "GRENADE!...Room clear!"

A protest is a protest if peaceful fine, however drop a few scum bags with some well aimed head exploding stuff is fine in my books....that would ensure a peaceful protest.

Dont get all Nancy with your Human rights shiote

Fair play, WRT:

1)
How do you rate the long term effectiveness of the aforesaid SA police tactics?

2)
Where can I get some grenades then? They would make it much easier to cut about town when the tourists are here. Rather than "Room clear" it would be "Road/Pavement clear" continue to walk. Some CS for "bar clear" would be nice as I don't want to permanently damage bar staff, beer taps or optics bottles.

The South African police tactics worked fine as long as there was the political will to back them up. When that went south(no pun intended)it did'nt matter how hard-core the police were. The whole system rotted from within.

I'm not about to get into a huge discussion on Aparthide; that would take away far too much time from illegally downloading films, searching for porn etc. I will simply say that, far from being a bright new dawn of freedom, majority rule has simply ment that the average black is fcuked over by people of his own colour rather than whites.

Of course, the ANC can point out that thier people are free...to be raped, shot, car-jacked or, if they are really lucky, all three.

In answer to your second question - yeah, I know what you mean. A few grenades would make visiting my local TESCO a much more enjoyable experiance!

When I worked in casualty one scrote having lost a fight in town was admitted .And for no apprent reason punched a student nurse breaking his nose .Police were there on another matter dragged him off .
He turned up the next day demanding treatment and help as the police had given him a kicking at the station .Was most put off when he was told to do one or we would call the police again :D .
