Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Tell me pls

Is the ACF able & happy to receive gifts of unrequired uniform, mostly C95 with some desert smocks / trousers etc & bits of webbing?

  2. I am sure your local acf det would be very grateful.

  3. This is our ACF commander and he deals with all of the childrens needs.

He looks like someone but i cant put my finger on it, says he's ex SF...

  4. Old proverb : All that glitters is not gold.

  5. Probably, when the fort George decommissioned we were swamped by local SCC and CCF units taking our stocks of uniform that we couldn't return back through stores. Most the kit units ET seems to be in pretty bad states before from what I've seen.

  6. Very nice.

  7. Email or call them first; don't just box it up and leave it outside their building! :)

  8. Be careful about giving uniforms as a gift. I once bought the wife a St Trinian's outfit as a surprise, anniversary present. Didn't get any tea for a month!
