Despite all that the Spanish still continue to manoeuvre inside the 3 mile limit.

HMS Sabre is doing a fine job on an incident by incident basis but, overall, we are failing to deter the Spanish antics. The current situation is untenable for all sorts of reasons, none the least of which is the longer we allow the Spanish to take the piss, the bolder they will become. Particularly with the current Brexit backdrop.

So, what to do?

Obviously, diplomacy is the strategic route to follow but, tactically, will a couple more, bigger RN boats make a difference and, perhaps more importantly, do we have them?

I don't know the answers to this but, to coin a phrase, we need to do something...
