The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

As a stab visiting BAOR I could never quite work out why spotty, prison-tattoed, gap-toothed teenaged British infantrymen could pull such utterly stunning porn dolly teutonic maidens.
Then I saw the local menfolk and the penny dropped.
Oh well, as long as they're arguing about haircuts and makeup and not shouting "Panzers Marsch!" and heading East then I'm quite happy.
How long before some scrot tries it here? Is it just me but whenever I have seen squaddies with BLEACHED or DYED hair it seems to be accepted?
I recall someone telling me about a Guardsman in NI who had bleached blond hair and got a lawyer involved, human rights etc
I would not be surprised if it happened here, and before anyone points out tradition or Queens regs the European parliment has more sway than tradition
Off to flog the natives now hurrmphh
And this, ladies and gentlefolk, is what happens when "human rights" legislation is taken to its logical conclusion.
Previously reductio ad absurdam was a philosophical and debating device. It appears that it is now policy
This begs the question of who you would have in your fantasy mullet section.
Sect Comd- Rudi Voller
2IC- The Hoff
#1- Chris Waddle
Those names for starters. All big in the Fatherland for services to the Reich.
You forgot David Hasselhof!
Err the 2ic is David "The Hoff" Hasselhoff.

Roger, I'll go back to boiling my head...apologies.
seem to remember, even in the 80's german soldiers with beards?
The german soldiers today have goatees and all varieties of facial hair.
Bundeswehr soldiers have (as far as I know) always been allowed to grow beards, so long as they are kept trimmed.
Aren't the dutch allowed mullets and beards?? I seem to remember doing the Nijmeghen Marches and the dutch were sporting them under they're hats.
heard that the Dutch used to be issued with hairnets to stop it catching in the moving parts of the rifle
Dutch have allowed long hair for a good few years now under similar arguments as Germans. I suppose that's what you get for still having a conscript army. On the other hand the Germans have alternatives to military service for all the non hackers. I still can't get over the mentality though.....duh you are in the ARMY! What did you expect!
Separate names with a comma.
