Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I do, riddle me this; when did the UK last have a single party government elected by an absolute majority of the electorate?
  2. No idea.

I am well aware of how it all works, but I always find it a bit rich for the Germans to point at others (Belgium, NL, France, USA, Russia) and sneer that they have illegitimate leaders.

It does look as though Germany is about to opt for more of the same, which is really what could be expected.
