Generalist Or Specialist - Discuss

  1. Things are a changing - what do you reckon....
     
  2. Specialist, because you can do more special things rather than just general things.
     
  3. I am generally in favour of specialisation. However there is a case to be made for people to specialise in general service matters. This of course opens the possibilities somewhat as there are also opportunities for people to specialise in sector specific components of a general service career. And......

  6. Of course if you do really well as a specialist you could get to be a General. Then you could say you were a general specialist or a specialist general. Being a general General is just silly.
