General Staff Brassard

    I have been given a uniform of a gunner officer (no tailor's label or ribbons) with flat buttons, bronze ubique collar dogs, coloured stars on epaulettes and what I recognise as a General Staff Branch Brassard. (It is Black/Red/Black with a Black G in the Red stripe).

    I'm trying to date the uniform and hope the info given is enough. I suppose that there would be a left and right of arc betwen when officers' rank went onto shoulders and when staff brassards were no longer worn.

    Please help... any help apprceciated.
