Either way, surely Corbyn or Johnson’s time will be up. If Labour lose, surely Corbyn can’t carry on. If the Tories lose more seats, surely a new leader will be needed.
I can’t see Labour winning, the real question is whether Johnson can gain a majority.

Not anytime soon. The polls are wrong and its a Zionist plot; the voters just need re-education and then the polls will tell the true story.

Many would love to hear on the struggles Poles must have in Poland if any Polish people on here could post the true stories it would be good to hear.

Where I work 53% of the workforce is eastern european. Mostly Polish

Support for Brexit amongst them is quite strong. Those who don't actively support it aren't upset about it.
Those who plan to stay are quite content to get the necessary paperwork to do so.

Many see the EU as fundamentally socialist, some see it as verging on communism.

The only argument any eastern european has presented against Brexit in our company is economic.
Not one single one of them has suggested that ever closer union is desirable for either the UK or the rest of europe.

What I was quite unaware of until relatively recently was how much some of the eastern european states dislike each other.

Remember Comrade Stalin's maxim "It's not who votes that counts, it's who counts the votes".

I hope there are independent observers in many of the areas where voting is somewhat suspect. See post elsewhere about votes in Bishop Auckland and seemingly going to Tory being counted in Sedgefield and a heavy loss to the Tories! Allegedly!

I'll just leave this here .... confirms what people's main concerns are in the forthcoming election ... if correct Labour are in for a bad day ... note also change in polling intentions over the last week even after free everything for everyone announcements ... Conservative up to 44% and Labour down to 28% ... hopefully confirming the public are not gullible .

In the latest Opinium poll for the Observer the Conservatives are up three points compared with a week ago, and now stand on 44%. Labour is down one point on 28%. The Liberal Democrats are also down one point on 14%, their lowest showing since August, while the Brexit Party is unchanged on 6%. Brexit is cited by most voters as the most important issue, with 36% saying they will decide which party to support based on their approaches to leaving the EU. This is followed by health (20%) and the economy (7%).
So Labour may be targeting totally the wrong area to attract votes ... probably because they are still trying to face two ways or kick the can down the road ... again ... again for a Brexit decision .

Oh .... and the source of the quote .... The Guardian / Observer .... both not exactly Conservative supporting newspapers ... linky ... see end of article ... Corbyn vows to protect NHS from US drugs firms

Never ask a Pole what he thinks of a Ukrainian.

At a guess...

if they were to win, there would be a leadership after a few months - once the shitty stuff like second referendum/repeal A50 of the way and Corbyn has been tarred with the opprobrium of half the electorate etc.
if they don’t win. Corbyn’s puppeteers will have him hoofed before the GE ballot papers have been boxed up and placed in storage

Even Corbyn must know that win or lose, his days as the Glorious Leader are numbered.
