General Election 2017 - The Consequences

As opposed to being governed by what Brussels thinks...?

Difficult to see which is the lesser of two evils there!
Is there much difference between kneeling down and bending over

If kneeling I fancy it's a lot harder to be - ahem - arse-raped than if bent over holding the ankles!

Although I think we're all well aware of Rome's form in that regard, especially when it comes to altar boys...

He is governed by what Rome thinks and that will be against what most believe.
He has spoken at length about how his Catholicism will not influence how he represents his constituents.

Corbyn is going to get in the chair next election. Save what you can people and jump ship.
If he lasts until 2022. Soon the party will undoubtedly start questioning why their socialist messiah has actually not given them electoral success yet. Also the whole spying for the USSR thing may come back to bite him in the arse....

JRM is too religious to be PM. He is governed by what Rome thinks and that will be against what most believe. Just his stance on abortion and gay marriage will be used against him. No matter how good a speaker he is he is not the leader of a party.
If the Tories want to lose young folk entirely, not to mention many non religious types, then JRM is the ticket

Then you are obviously quite stupid
It's a shame that this is in CA and it is thus not possible to point out what a cock you are, you mong button-mashing inadequate.

Just because you think the bloated EU is the be all and end all of everything doesn't mean that everyone else has to, or that you are right.

Wood for the trees, wood for the trees...

Not at all, brexit is an ongoing strategic disaster that the nation will probably never fully recover from, at least in influential terms.

That business, academia and virtually all industry are unanimous in their prediction that brexit will be disastrous for the UK passes by the blinkered old farts on an internet forum doesn't surprise me.

What does surprise me is that they don't see how the criminal incompetence and party before country attitude shown by the government is likely to lead to a Corbyn led government

Wrong. Quite a lot of support for JRM amongst 'young' people out there - just not the sort that vocally prostrate themselves over social media baying and bleating. Not everyone under the age of 25 is a bleeding heart socialist snowflake. The majority either don't care or find them as offensive as we do...

Any proof? I'll openly admit my assertion was anecdotal, yet pretty much unanimous

Any proof/evidence of Brexit being an ongoing strategic disaster?

As for business and industry predictions? The forecasting will be the death of some people & last time I looked the business and industry should be more prepared complete with less excuses, it’s called a business resilience plan.

Recover influential terms?

Anyone would think your comparing Brexit with the damn ice age or a global war.

How do you know what the majority think unless it's on social media or you've found a way of polling every under 25 in the country (or a significant number of them)?

Brussels eh, telling us who to vote for, when to vote for them, how often. Interfering in our social and foreign policy. Telling us how many hours a week our junior docs can work. And this obsession with clean water and beaches, we don’t need no non stinking beaches.

Well the 1922 committee will have it's say on the matter either way.

Cynically, I think post Brexit Davis may not want the job of PM and may choose an alternative route. JRM does support TM however post Brexit a lot can change within the political environment.

IIRC he’s governed and voted in by what his constituents think of him as a MP, head of a company and family man.

Most of us look beyond people’s ‘personal religious views’ however I do agree people will focus more against the negatives of JRM.

Or rape victims who wish to terminate the I'll gotten fruit of sexual assault
And when asked of this responded that it's his own personal view and wouldn't expect it to come up before the commons as there are already laws for this sort of tragic circumstance. It seems acceptable to press MP's who openly proclaim their Christian faith (Tim Fallon being one example) on their faiths interpretation but wouldn't dare do it to others for fear of being cast as xenophobic.

Or a Mad Max-esque dystopian wasteland...
