  1. Daily Telegraph Sunday 18 April 2010
An ex-soldier berated the Conservative leader for failing to help him when he returned from a tour of duty in Kosovo, and was homeless with a pregnant wife
The man, who has not been named and who was accompanied by his young daughter, confronted Mr Cameron as the politician canvassed voters in his Witney constituency in Oxfordshire.

The man said he had telephoned the politician 30 times without success.

"I met you... years ago, my wife was pregnant with this one," said the man, who wore a green tee-shirt and had a closely-shaved head.

"Come back from Germany, nowhere to live, little one, just left the Army - got back from Kosovo.

"You gave me your card and you said 'give me a ring and I'll help you out'.

"Thirty odd phone calls and you didn't ring me back once."
