Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I post this obit notice in the NAAFI because she would have wanted it that way.

Brigadier General Sherry Britton, personally commissioned by President Roosevelt himself, has passed away..

I'm sure she would have been entusiastically saluted by any right thinking soldier, and, while I have no evidence she ever led any men into battle, I'm sure she led more than a few astray.
  2. WOW!
I am both stunned and humbled that over 200 of you marked the General's passing with silent respect and forebear making a salacious or derogatory/sexist comment at her demise..

I am honoured to be a part of this great site which has such upstanding and respectful people on it.

To quote the General herself " I stripped but I never teased. "
  3. I won't be respectful.... she'd have got it if she looked like that when she died.
  4. you would have waited till she died?

sir, you are sick! i salute you.
