Do not have a scooby-doo how to set up a 'poll' (maybe the board Gastapo could halp?) on here, but would be interested in views re introducing a Patriot Act.

All Public buildings including schools to fly the Union flag together with the country flag

As with US, ALL school children to swear allegiance to the Queen daily

    State schools = state education

Plenty more could be added, but then again, has the horse already bolted?

  2. How disgustingly un-British.

  3. Forcing the unwashed youth of today to plead alliegence to the Queen every day, without the US ability to brainwash them at the same time is one sure fire way of turning them against the Queen (or Sucessor) in the long term.

There lies the path to a Republic. Is that what you are after in the long run?

  4. Oi Penelope pitstop, You trying to be chav?
You trying to turn this country in a another state of America?

  5. How about an offence of Treasonous behaviour?

Inciting terrorism against the country you are in = treason= gaol- forever!

  6. Most Un-British

So American children swear allegiance to the President every day?

Can't see Bluppet allowing schoolkids to swear allegiance to Madge every day , not while his celestial navigatorship (Heh!) is in charge

  7. Not a chance - the likelihood is that allegiance would be sworn to Bliar and not HM.

    We need to:

Keep up the intelligence and police work.
Get a grip of our borders.
Look objectively at our disastrous foreign policy.
Restore trust in the political process.

Items 3 and 4 may be seen as "appeasement" particularly by those who continue to defend Bliar and his failed wars. This is not the case - if our involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan had been (and were continuing to be) successful then such a policy would best be maintained in the face of terrorism...although such terrorism would be less likely to occur. The fact is that the Iraq venture has failed and has increased the terrorist threat...a lose-lose situation.

  8. isn't treason still punishable by death?

  9. No, all death punishment were abolished in 1998

  10. Bring it back i say, and start clearing out the prisions as well!

  11. i agree with some of the initial statement and others.

yes there should be a form of Patriot Act , more public displays of the National flag, on Public and private building and in Offices, encourage Pride in being British instead of brushing it under the carpet,

if any immigrants want to become a British citizen they should serve 5 years in the British Army (unless barred by a disablility) by then they will have earned their right to live in this country and having a proper stake in it if they die in service then their families are automatically British as they have made the ultimate sacrifice for this country.

anyone downgrading and spitting on British way of life by preaching holy war and Jihad against us to be automaticallly deported back their own home country and try living without the WESTERN lifestyle they so enjoy, their families and relatives following close behind ! unless they swear complete loyality to UK and disown their mad mullah father !

illegal immigrant without documents is to be denied entry to UK in any circumstances they are to be shipped back immediatly no appeals, back to France as a first choice, which where most of them came from.

Death Penalty restored for crimes against humanity, murders, child killings, treason, piracy, even better don't use hanging, instead have a row of elecric chairs connected in a loop and you can zap load of evil criminals in no time.

empathise British quality of life and History in schools which many people seemed to forget, show pride in our achievements our courage in the face of adversity, teach all this especially to other ethnic minority children so they can buy into the British lifestyle and share in it. everything else follow from that.

try this http://www.woodlands-junior.kent.sch.uk/customs/questions/ a good start

Would a patriot act prevent the following occurring again? And is it typically British or un-British?

Displacing the previously colonised population of Diego Garcia to Mauritius and the Seychelles (into slums), handing it to the U.S. to use as a strategic military base and keeping it secret for 30 years

ps. Britannia = one t and two n's

  13. It will never happen. It might offend the "irish" or some other tiny minority group who are happy to avail of the rights and freedoms our country offers while at best despising it, and at worst actively opposing it. The spineless government will always let the tail (ie these people) wag the dog.

  14. ahh so the rainbow warrior incident didn't happen ?

the French exploded Nuclear Bomb in the pacific in defiance of the world opinioin also displacing population in the process.

The French doesn't allow its citizens to be extradited even for murder.

the same French who was once occupied by the German and immediatly forget the lesson to immediatly try to resume it former position as a colonial power by reimposing autocratic rule in Indo China and Algeria several pacific islands.

    i could go on........

  15. are you advocating that we do nothing ?
    what is your solution ?
