  1. Afternoon ARRSE`s
I am looking for some help i have inherited my late fathers shotgun.
It is a G.E Lewis, i believe from Birmingham.
It is 16 Guage, black powder, external hammer, side by side action.
I have searched the web for G.E lewis to no avail, my question is do Lewis still trade?
And can any one else give me any info on this type of shotgun.

Do you mean J. E. Lewis?

  4. It is probably earlier than 1910 having a hammer action and being BP proofed only. Of course it could be much older than that.

  5. J.E Lewis, yes, you are right, my mistake.
