It is a difficult job to understand for someone who is programmed to kill to question his authorities why they doing it.

Before you join forces or if you are currently working, think for a little while and refute this if you can, you are murdering someone who never harmed you, isnt the US dream of going after the resources of central asia that they are after as their intrest but you are paying its price on one hand and on the other hand innocents of Afghanistan on the other hand.

Lets learn a lession from the video before it is too late.

What's the standing strength of the US Army?

About 250,000, maybe more. So ten of them commited violent crimes. I'd say thats way below average for the US population.

Well you've converted me anyway. You are right - I shall repent as I have seen the light. I shall do penance this evening and punish my body for the sins I have committed against humanity.

I shall do this by forcing the demon alchohol past my quivering lips until I am unable to walk. I shall then turn the Television on to the punishment channel (Spice TV) and beat myself until my t@dger is physically sick.

I commend all arrsers to do likewise otherwise (cue Dads' Army)

"We're doomed, doomed ah tell ye"

Alternatively abuaqsa - why don't you feck off you bonehead. But I bet you're not a real jihadi are you.? You're a spotty student from a middle class background who feels a need to "do something". Have you got a beard like that cnut in Scooby Doo?

Obviously the OP's comments are nothing more than a barely comprehensible, ill-informed, partisan rant and deserve to be treated as such, but the attached clip is worth viewing and I personally found it quite disturbing, primarily because it seems entirely credible.
Let's face it guys, any of us who have spent any time at all in the company of our US cousins knows that while many of them are top blokes and excellent soldiers, a disproportionate number seem to be total weirdo's. You don't have to be paticularly bright to join the British Infantry but I've rarely met in it's ranks the kind of truly thick, immature and patently gormless types I encountered all to frequently among the US Army and Marines. Many of them were gun-obsessives and seemed to have bought into that peculiarly American military culture which sees them giving their units bizarre names like "Widow Makers", "Night Stalkers" and the like. When you add this to the almost endemic cultural naivity and ignorance of the average GI or marine, it would seem you have a starting point for problems.
I also happen to think that their tour lengths are far too long, especially given the intensity of operations that characterised Iraq and now Afghanistan, far, far above what we experienced even at the height of the NI campaign. This unit, 2/12 Infantry, seems to have spent 3 years out of 5 on operations (2xIraq and 1xAfgh, tours of I year each. I doubt if there were any soldiers on the Allied side in WW2 who endured that amount of time actually on operations and in the face of the enemy?
We can only speculate as to how these guys behaved on Ops, but the very fact that some of them banded together and committed several murders after they'd returned is very worrying indeed. These weren't case's of a sudden loss of control fuelled by drink/drugs and PTSD, these murders were planned.
As for the activities of the guy discussed in the latter pert of the program, who claimed to have opened up with a .50 cal in a crowded Iraqi street for no reason and thought he'd killed "about 12 people", I hope to Christ he made that up!
