Designed around your work needs, the six week course builds on existing skills including researching vocational options, identifying employment skills and a range of interview skills and techniques. The course also includes change management coaching as well as practical CV design and development, covering letters and completing application forms.

Gain confidence by taking part in a 6 week course which will cover and include:

  • Access to a range of family support factices and including optional child minding while enrolled on the course

  • Coaching 4 Change:
An interactive workshop which deals with understanding change and managing the impact, improving self-efficacy and promoting a solution focused approach

  • Vocational Goal:
Feedback and reports from on-line vocational assessment which will help individuals identify strengths and potential career/training opportunities

  • Employability Workshops:
A range of sessions allowing individuals to develop a better understanding of the following:
Researching vocational options and identifying skills
CV design and development, covering letters and application forms
Job searching activities – job adverts/networking/hidden job markets
A range of interview skills and techniques.

RBLI will be delivering LifeWorks for military parents at the Lampard Community Centre, Sally Port, Brompton, Gillingham, Kent, ME7 5BU in cooperation with Sure Start.

Beginning on 10th January 2013 and continuing every Thursday for 6 weeks at 9.30 am - 12 noon.
