Time to invade.
Seeing as there are more Brits with savings with them than there are Icelanders...
This isn't good, is it?
Which one is next? Lack of confidence is contagious and will spread quickly to the other banks and building societies, which is why the shares of banks did so badly today.
I realise that we have to go through this, but I am watching my (British) bank with some concern. Its shares are already yielding twice as much as its best savings account!
