Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. French reporter embedded with 101st Airborne Division, 502nd Inf. - American Soldier Loses Both Legs in Front of the Camera

Joint US/Afghan patrol in village, Sergeant steps on IED pressure plate lost both legs half of right arm.

Minutes before Sergeant Allen was wounded, an ANA soldier asked the villagers if there were IED in the compound, the answer was "definitly, no".
  2. poor fcuker :(

    fcuking IED's.
  3. Jesus. Poor bugger!
  4. Poor ****.

The only thing is. Unless it's bad editing not one of the patrol thought to check for secondary devices or other IED's? All I saw was very quick bcd and a lot of flapping.

    Speedy recovery mate.
