Just to clarify this is an ongoing court case and nobody has been found guilty of any charges.

This investigation has been running from 2003 under codename Operation Ramariar.
They were first charged in Feb 2010, and they appeared in court again yesterday.

My question is, Does it normally take this long for the MOD Police & SFO to investigate,or would it be due to say the complex nature of this case(but it still seems a long time if it is)

  2. I know of a case, involving UK nationals, where the SFO declined to get involved.UK MoD Police arrested a couple of people, but were told by CPS to release them. The case has been going on for several years. The main allegation is fraud against US DoD!!
