Jean Todt is the FIA president. Nicolas Todt is the manager of Leclerc. I wonder why Mercedes and the other teams accept this clear conflict of interests. It seems the next championship is already served on a silver plate to Leclerc and Ferrari. FIA will give vital hints to Ferrari in winter to develop their new car. Even the recent Ferrari improvement is due to a hardware that bypasses the FIA sensors according to rumours. It reminds the late 90s when Ecclestone and FIA wanted the Ferrari to win and tried everything.
It's not called Ferrari International Assistance for nothing...

Lewis Hamilton: Social media post says he feels 'like giving up on everything'

Oh dear, Louis has lost it.
Lewis Hamilton - "going vegan is the ‘only way to truly save our planet’

LW: "My private jets, flying around world, driving fast cars round in circles.... don't matter, you must forgo pleasure"

Never liked the tatted pierced bling gangsta - now see him as a woke hypocrite tosser to dislike

LW live up to your Eco-loon pronouncements: sail/row your boat to USA - no Greta style fly crew shenanigans

I can't remember a race with so many favours to one team. Jump start, crashes Verstappen out of track, keeps car on track with broken parts and throws debris and mirrors. No penalty given, only after the race to Leclerc because he was 5th anyway.

Going to get in early with my predictions for Mexico:

- Red Bull resurgence
- Ferrari struggle with lack of grip
- Mercedes struggle with overheating/reliability
- Leclerc will beat Vettel again

:D let's see how much of a tool I look come next Sunday evening!

Agree, LC should have been ordered by RC to pit & fix or black flag. FIA very lucky Hamilton was not next Massa.

Hamilton was ordered to pit when his "side rest" came loose, but was not likely to detach.

Binotto stated that the FIA told them to pit Leclerc but they chose not too. Frankly it beggars belief that he wasn’t then black flagged.

Have to say Masa is not impressing as F1s Race Director. I don’t believe there’s any way Charlie Whiting would have let it happen.

Meanwhile Renault are supposedly facing a potential ban for their brake bid technology. Seems that the cheating culture remains a decade after crashgate. But which is worse; pushing the design rules or ignoring an issue that blatantly threatened the life of another driver. Had that end plate that hit Hamilton’s mirror hit his helmet......

Mercedes should sign Leclerc to close the Todt's family favours to Ferrari. They appealed against the suspect Ferrari engine but it's useless with Jean as FIA president and Nicolas Todt as Leclerc's manager. Ferrari offered Leclerc 9 million that is the same as Bottas.

Why would they want Leclerc? He’s not very good. Quick, but accident prone and not a team player.

The rest is conspiracy theory bollocks. It’s not as if Ferrari International Assistance has brought either championship to Ferrari since Todt left them. They’ve been royally stuffed by Mercedes for the past six years and Red Bull before them.

To steal Ferrari's only chance and avoid FIA dishonest helps to Ferrari for the winter car development. It's likely Ferrari will have the best car to make Leclerc champion and Nicolas Todt rich.

Not that conspiracy. How do you explain the giant development they did? This Ferrari was a car that could hardly win a race and is now the best car. And the ridiculous race control of last race? Jump starts, crashes and debris around the track and no penalties. Todt helps Leclerc because Nicolas Todt is his manager, not Ferrari as a team. It seems all set for a Leclerc and Ferrari win.

So why didn’t Felipe Massa win the title? After all Nicholas Todt got him his Ferrari deal and managed him throughout his career.

There are plenty of recent examples of teams making a huge stride forwards after the break. Mercedes last year, Red Bull in 2013 and McLaren in 2009. Nothing to see.

He nearly won, he certainly had the best car. But he was too slow compared to Hamilton and still lost. So you don't see any favour that a father could do to make his son earn millions? It's not a conspiracy, it's common human behaviour. It would be a rare example of honesty

Nicolas Todt is already a very rich man with a great record in motor sport. He founded ART Grand Prix FFS. Next year, there will be nine former ART drivers on the F1 grid, including Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel. Add in Kvyat whom he manages but isn’t a former ART driver and half of next years grid will have passed through Todt’s hands. Every World Championship this decade (including this year) has been won by a driver who has raced for Nicolas Todt.

Its ridiculous to suggest that JeanTodt favors his former team. If he did, why aren’t Citroen cleaning up the WRC?

Fathers don't give favours to sons? Nicolas is not poor obviously but what is best for his career, to win a F1 championship or not?

He favors his son not a team. Now Nicolas has the chance to win the F1 title, he needs a little help. Even the shop employer down the road favours his son, is Todt the most honest man in the world?

In what way does Nicolas Todt have a chance to win a World Championship. His company manages drivers commercial interests, not their driving. He’s not part of the Ferrari team.
