Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. A former RA Sgt was found guilty of supply weapons kits to criminal gangs arounnd the UK, and judging by his pad he made a fair living out out of it, but the article states he spent the last six years of his military service with ""special ops troop"" any ideas what that could be ?

Fomer Sgt jailed for weapons supply
  2. In the article it saya he was RA, so he was probably in 4/73 (Sphinx) Special OP Battery, (Op standing for observation post) or whatever it used to be - plastic SAS springs to mind from a very long time ago :D
  3. I'll volunteer to comfort the step daughter.
  4. The stepdaughter looks like a bloke in drag. You, Sir, are obviuosly typing with your beer-goggles on. Or a sherry monacle depending on rank.
  5. But you still would yes?
  6. I'll stick with my first thoughts.Maybe it's the black leather look coat that does it for me,oh and the Essex facelift?

  7. I think 4/73 used to be just plain old 73- pre 82 ish I'm sure I'll be corrcted tho'. He may be a bit old for that, dunno.
