I knew it and he owes me 10/6d for the paint

I take it that you sold him/his campaign the paint prior to decimilisation then?

(He was sent down in 1974).
  4. Way I read it the conviction was unsound - doesn't mean he is innocent.

You (very) obviously weren't around in the mid-70's.

Google "George Davis" and "Headingly" (might have been Elland Road).

Bloke's a cnut of the first water, but you have to admire his tenacity.
  6. That Sham 69 record was certainly criminal.
  7. I thought you were innocent until proven guilty. It seems to me that if the conviction was unsound, guilt has been shown to not have been proven. That means he is innocent. Whether he did it or not is another thing.
  8. Shame he was caught red handed, during an armed blag 12 months after he was released due to lack of evidence for the first George Davis is innocent job

He knew it was coming, he'd been to see Mystic Meg.
  10. Well, I seem to remember reading something in the Press many, many years ago soon after Mr Davis was released after the campaign that claimed he was innocent of the crime that he was put in prison for, that some months after this, he was arrested on another hold up job. Not sure if I read this correct, or if it was just alleged. The Geezer was a career criminal, so it was alleged.
  11. Jesus, who's next - Harry Roberts?
  12. Shot three Detectives if I remember rightly.
