As Mao said "Politics is war without bloodshed, war is politics with bloodshed" What are the long term political repercussions of allowing other sovereign nations buying up companies lock stock and barrel as nations with national interests rather than individuals with commercial interests at heart. How is it that decisions and policies that affect the nation as a whole seem to appear as fait accompli without any sort of debate as to the pro's and con's, or am I being a bit thick, or indeed have I been asleep? Should I just go back to sleep ?
