Flying aptitude - finally

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Nearly 2 years after I submitted my application, and after being told 3 times by my CO that I couldn't attend, I've finally passed aptitude at OASC and I'm grinning from ear to ear. I know there's still a huge amount to go through, but at least I'm one step further on now.

For anyone serving who wants more info on Army flying, AGAI 43 has all the details and application paperwork.

Right, I'm off to play on MS Flight Sim X to prepare for grading!

    :D :D :D

  2. Well done troopie, thats the first hurdle out of the way, just the other 50 to go...

  3. That's great news Troopie - congratulations.

  4. Thanks for the support. I'm still feeling annoyed that I could have been at this stage 2 years ago if it weren't for certain personalities in my regiment.

Looks like I'll get to do grading starting end of next month, so at least things are moving along nicely now.

  5. Good luck fella

And spread the word. We need good NCO pilots!

  6. ...and good officer pilots too, I hope!

  7. :( How to kill a post in one easy lesson! Perhaps he or she is an ex-NCO??? 8O

Or maybe just a good orficer?

Good luck Troopie, well done :D
