Flightradar 24 and Marine spotting odds and sods.

Just had this fly over as I was in the yard putting the bins away. Looked like the ramp was down and had legs dangling off the edge. I wouldn't fancy that - it's brass monkey's up here.

Interesting. I used to work at The Bushe. Wonder what it was doing there? Or perhaps FR is on the Fritz (again) and it actually came out of Odiham. They are reasonably adjacent.

Aye, I reckon Odiham too. When I clicked to show the route it had taken, the track didn't immediately come from BBS.

Unusual, I bet it's a bit chilly up there.

Quite a few years ago, 'er indoors took us for a hot air balloon trip in mid winter.
I wrapped up thinking it would be freezing, wrong. As obviously you travel with the wind, there is no breeze. Also every so often they light up a huge gas fire above your head.
Standing around in a field afterwards, now that was chilly!

Oh yeah I know that, I just mean that route in general - I see various heavies using that when travelling to the US and just wondered if it would be classed as an Atlantic track.
Going back a few weeks. These (T to Z) are Eastbound Atlantic tracks rather than Westbound for 25/11/21.

The only USAF C130 fitted with ski's to support Antarctica ops.

First thought was that the "runway" had melted, followed by do they have different lights for the different landing gear configurations?

Can't remember seeing this in the thread, C130? Hah.

[Geek Hat]Yeah saw the A340-300 think yesterday. Disappointed it wasn't a A340-600 :D [/Geek Hat]

I think the C130 in that configuration is used for makeshift runways on the ice.

Didn’t know there was a holiday resort down there. A snip at $96000 for eight days!

Isle of Man is being battered a bit by wind at the minute. An easyJet and Loganair holding.
