This model B-29 aircraft runs on four chainsaw motors. You can just imagine how much time, effort, skill and money these guys have put into this thing. The video IMHO is just remarkable!

  5. Brllant, crab air buy a job lot and the defence budget is saved
  6. There used to be a guy based in North Brumopolis name of Jim Davies, who ran a model shop selling every conceivable item needed for the model enthusiast.
He was credited back in the 1970`s with having the (then) worlds biggest radio controlled model of a Lancaster, powered by four chainsaw motors I think.
Was a very impressive spectacle in flight.
Unfortunetley I have no idea where the model or where the man himself are now

    Edited for mong spelling
  7. Want one !
  8. I was watching that and thinking that 'what would be 'really' impressive is if they launched the X1 with a little rocket motor'. Then... fcuk me! Bloody marvellous. Some considerable skill displayed there: build, engineering and flying.
