  1. Righty. Clicked the search and couldn't find this (mind you, it could just be me).

    What are the minimum levels of fitness for joining the infantry?

    Like, what is the fitness test? Is it how many sit ups and press ups you can do in 2 minutes? If it is, whats the average or the minimum?

    (Mods, feel free to move this if its in the wrong place :wink: )
     
  2. 120 pressups (minimum) in 2 min
    95 situps (minimum) in 2 min
    1.5 mile under 9.50

  4. There are some seriously dense people on this forum, he was quite clearly being sarcy?

    Regarding fitness tests, all you have to do is a 2.4km run in under 10:30. You're not tested on sit ups or press ups before u start basic.

    Lol. I may need to work on my press ups. :|

    Ive just seen some of this on the army jobs website (it only said about the 1.5 mile run, under 11 minutes)
