How are people preparing for the medicine ball throw? I've heard this is the hardest, and I'm a little stressed about it!
Not that hard. Way I’ve seen people work on it is push ups against the wall but pushing away from the wall. Or push ups where you come off the floor

Recovery Mechanic Mid thigh pull is 146Kg, how many people are actually achieving that?

Seems an excessive number compared to other trades.

I've done 5 years, and currently in the REME. I honestly dont know why that is set at 143kg, when a Tank Crewman is only 70.

REME TST is 143kg which is basically the same as a RLC Supply specialist which has to achieve 46kg. I think there might be a mistake.

Keep me updated when you go to selection and good luck if it actually is 143kg.

Reme MTP is 143kg!

These scores are set by the Corps.

Also, why is infantry only 76kg?? My Nan could lift more than that.
(thats a rhetorical question - the answer is fairly obvious)

Any tips for improving 1.2 mile time? I'm currently running it in 10:30 but would like to get it to 10:00, I dont know much about running to be honest so what would help my speed. I heard running intervals can help?

Tie 2 x steaks to your belt and run past some dogs like Jean Claude Van Damme in kickboxer.

On a serious note, knock the ale on the head, eat healthier, stop wanking, stop smoking, hydrate properly, set harder targets to hit and it might sound daft but run harder/faster.

What is the terrain at Pirbright as that is where I will be going for my assessment centre. When I tun on a treadmill (with the incline turned up to 1.0) I can run the 2k in 8mins 39 secs. When I run outside through Southampton common, which has a large incline at the end I struggle to do it in 11mins. Any advice?

Forget the treadmill and get outside, that's where the assessment is so need to train for it like that
