Having a problem with Firefox on my home laptop.

When I boot up the computer I am able to use it without any problem.

Once I have had the computer on for a while, all the other programs work but Firefox thinks about it for a while and then does nothing. If I open up my task manager, there is nothing there.

If I restart, it works straight away.

Do you think I need to reinstall it?

Had this occasionally. When you open Task Manager check to see if FF is running under 'Services'. If it is delete the instance and FF should then restart when you try again.

  5. I suspect you have a plug-in that is corrupting it. See if you can start Firefox in safe mode and disable the plugins.

    Thanks for the advice.

How do you work out what plug-ins/extensions you have installed?
(Not on my home computer so can't look at this very moment)
