Firefox v. The Sun

#1
This is driving me mad!

Every time I click on someone's post of a linky to Sun article, Firefox crashes.
If I try to log on to the Sun "Newspaper" site, Firefox crashes.

Firefox is an excellent platform, but do I need this level of auto-censorship?
Is it just because The Sun is a sh1te "newspaper"?
Or does it use "rude words" that trigger the firewall?

Anyone else had this problem with Firefox?
And ... know a solution?
Not that I care massively, you understand ...

Give yourself a good talking to for even trying to access the scum.

Firstly, why the fcuk do you want to read articles in The Sun. You'd find more news in your undercrackers.

Secondly, no problems with my Firefox trying to access.

Try clearing Firefoxs cache. It may be that you have a naughty cookie lodged in your ZX81 somewhere.

Same as Flash, B_S. No problem with accessing The Scum at all (apart from the sense of shame).

Are you running any plug-ins that might struggle with it?

Thanks for the [constructive] comments.

I do feel that when an ARRSE bothers to post a link, it is at least polite to try to follow it!

I shall now try ...
1. Clearing cache on Uber-PC [up yours, Flash]
2. Checking for Firefox update.
3. Sixty ... no odd plug-ins that I'm aware of, being a rather non-IT person.

Thanks for the clues. I shall report back later.

Top tip, Gremlin. Never, ever click on a link from Flash without checking where you're going.

If only I'd taken my own advice there rather than going 'click' "Oh bollo..."
