Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. get ready for the Fire strike in merseyside, this time there will be no Army cover, all ex firemen that became managers are being retrained to provide cover, good help us all, i have seen some of these ex firemen, some of them are a right porky ba.stard.
  2. From what i understand in my long 16 years of life :p is that the MOD has just sold off all the army fire engines (green godesses i think theyre called) so there is no alternative.
  3. Porky, Scouser ex-firemen................the mind boggles.
  4. Well done FBU ......

Management say we want less firefighters, - FBU say you do that and we strike.

Management then manage with less firefighters and (generally) prove their case (and save some of the £3.5 million shortfall in wages).

    Unions, - don't you just love 'em?!! :D :D
