Financial retention Incentive (FRI)

  3. Come on Sam, The AAC have a tradition of not paying you or anyone else to QHI. I'm not suggesting your not worthy its just an unwritten rule, you do however usually get faster promotion and a nice cushty tour at Wallop!

    I believe the QHI world may get offered something but more importantly, A2s will get offered PES (A). ;)
  5. Muttley, this is a rumour network, I'm merely adding to the list on your rumour. [tongue in cheek] [/tongue in cheek]

    I'm not an A2, so any (fabled) FRI wouldn't benefit me.

    The Corps' method of retention has more often than not been 'stick' as opposed to 'carrot' and thus there has been little incentive for individuals to upgrade their QHI Cat. I'm not criticising the method because it has often been proved to work.

    The idea of promotion for QHIs makes me chuckle though, do you have any evidence that becoming a QHI improves the chance of promotion for anyone compared to their peer group?
