Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. :x Why does filling in a tax form without direct instructions from a bent accountant make me feel like a child walking into a paedophiles anonymous group

Every box ticked seems like a 50/50 leap of faith, the wrong answer leading you to be served up, sliced and diced to the revenue (By your own foolish hand)

I've got a scouse solicitor, he is a legend, dubious morals, eyes like a sh+t house rat and the ethical reasoning of a dog in a butchers shop

Why are accountants such, boring uptight wanchors unable to be creative or even a little light on the truth in an attempt to save you money

Anybody know a number cruncher who will actually work for me........ :x
  2. My accountant is spot on. He knows the trade inside out, and has saved me a fair amount of cash over the past few years. He is based in SE London if that's anywhere near you?

My only gripe is that his charges have risen since I started with him.
