Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Yes, this is a bone question. It's not for me, but a friend.

She needs a soundbite of a fairly new field telephone ringing. Does anyone have one?
  2. is this for some kinky role play?

You can simulate the tone by switching off your laptop.......taking out the battery....disconnect the keyboard........... :thumright:

    durrrrrr Ring
  5. Field telephone sound bite? 'Quercetus quietus est' according to Caubeen.
  6. Tele J or Tele L? I could probably do you an approximation to a Tele L (the one that rings rather than rattles) with my German ones (more like a Tele F, but who's fussy?)
  7. That's true, but its not for me, and she doesn't own a laptop :(
  8. Apparently there is one that sound like a digital noise? Does anyone know which one it may be?
  9. An article due to appear in the June 2014 Lancet.
PAs ground breaking Pavlovian knicker dropping on the ring of a field telephone experiment was a resounding success.
  10. For sexy role play you're better with the magnetos... easier to use the ring function with oiled/sweaty hands.
  11. And if you add in a length of D10 and a pair of crocodile clips you're well away. Those magnetos produce a good few tens of volts.
